Finally I cleaned out the garage and have room for herb drying racks. In the past we always used herbs fresh. But with the costs of things no more. We are going local as in back yard local.
The racks are perfect! They came from display pieces at my garden center. They are wrought iron black 30"x 30" square with four inch square grids. I put up four of them.
I then went about harvesting what was ready in the garden. Lots of lemon balm was culled restoring the look of the garden to just planted. Also I took a lot of white variegated oregano, dill, basil, winter savory, parsley and hyssop.
My next plan is to convert the back 1/3 of the garage to a garden room/shed. I mean a real garden shed not the P Allen Smith kind. Here will be storage and potting benches etc for my "garden stuff"
